Top Three In the Nation

"An art program/commission completed for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in collaboration with Kolar Design was honored in 2012 as one of top three in the nation by HealthCare Design Magazine. "The Center wanted to focus on showcasing art as part of the healing process. The new spaces captures a beautiful engaging artwork program."

Elizabeth Robinson Studios has been there to help

“When you begin to discern art work for a church, you have to ask yourself a few important questions. For example, "Is this piece of art capable of bearing the weight of mystery, of awe, of reverence, of wonder along with being supportive of the liturgical action being celebrate in this sacred space?" Moreover, "Will this art work truly serve the ritual action and allow the gathered assembly to enter more deeply in to the sacred mystery?"

"Elizabeth Robinson Studios has been there to help in the answering of such questions for which I am most grateful. Her artwork is honest and genuine, crafted well, and brings dignity and beauty to sacred spaces. I have enjoyed consulting with her in the past and look forward to working with her in the future.”

Elizabeth Schickel Robinson is a gifted artist

“Elizabeth Schickel Robinson is a gifted artist who created a large interactive piece for The Peace Place, which is a small sacred space at Cincinnati Children's Liberty campus.  Elizabeth worked with us, responding to our feedback, and her creative process resulted in a large, colorful, whimsical piece that invites patients and families to interact with it.  I have watched families with young children engage with Elizabeth's piece, finding joy and comfort in searching for a particular picture or color.  As a personal aside, I appreciated Elizabeth's work so much that I purchased some of her prints for my home and office.  If the occasion were to arise that I would be working on another sacred space that needed an artist's touch, I would not hesitate to reach out to Elizabeth Robinson Studio.”

Elizabeth listened to our ideas

“Bellarmine Parish at Xavier University commissioned Elizabeth Robinson Studio to design and construct a fabric banner for our children’s liturgy setting as a memorial to one of our parishioners who had been active in this ministry. Elizabeth listened to our ideas so attentively, prayerfully even – and asked insightful questions. The banner she created is joyful, accessible to children, and liturgically sound. Besides her artistry with cloth, Elizabeth also lent an essential practicality to the project, designing and easy to use mechanism for us to hang and remove the banner as needed.”
